This converted stone barn has been
designed to provide alpine style bunkhouse / camping barn accommodation for
those who still wish to get that old camping feeling but without giving up
all their comforts!
The barn has two floors; a cooking area (with gas burners, a microwave, fridge and freezer), sitting and storage area on the ground floor. The second floor is used for sleeping and can accommodate up to 16 on mattresses. Bed linen and pillow case provide you just need your sleeping bag. Toilets with washing facilities and showers are provided in separate blocks across the yard. Based between Waunfawr and Betws Garmon, Pentre Bach is just outside the Snowdonia National Park boundary. Surrounded by the superb scenery of Moel Eilio and Mynydd Mawr and the views down towards mount Snowdon itself.Leave the car and walk out from the barn or explore just further a field with the Nantlle ridge and main footpaths up Snowdon (Ranger and Rhyd Ddu). |
